Name: Shou-Ping Yu  俞壽平

 I was born in Taipei city, Taiwanmany years ago.The second child and first daughter of a middle-class family. Hada very strictly home education in childhood and following years. I was not born in a Christian family but accepted Jesus to be my savior and Lord during the second year of thesenior highschool.

     I finished my regular education from elementary school to university in 1986. After about one year the secular working experience God called me to be a full time minister, so I went to Taiwan Baptist Theological Seminary for training and study from 1987 and graduated in 1990.

     After graduation, God called me again to a not very unfamiliar organization-Taiwan Baptist WMU. I served in TBWMU for more than 14 years and back to my home church to be a minister in late of the year 2004.

     During I was still serving in my home church (Grace Baptist Church, Taipei) I’v had strong eagerness to back to school for improving my ministry. After passed the entrance exam. I started the D. Min. course study in Asian Baptist Graduate Theological Seminary from 2007 until now.

     Through the recommendation from TBWMU, I became the vice president of Asian Baptist Women’s Union in Kolkata, India in January the year of 2009. With president Sook Jae Lee, secretary Judith Militadas and treasurer Ofelia Caalim I was started a brand new ministry. I’ll hand over my duty to successor very soon in the coming ABWU Assembly.

I am single, happy and enjoy the life for every day that the Lord granted to me.
